At New Horizon Medical Care, Dr. Judith Moore and Marcy Rowley, FNP, specialize in difficult-to-treat cases by seeking to find the root causes of the patient's health challenge. We use Integrative Medicine, which is a combination of conventional medical treatment and alternative therapies to treat the whole of the patient and to personalize therapy as needed.
Dr. Moore and Marcy Rowley treat the body, mind and spirit, and not simply the disease. Besides regular family practice problems, they practice preventive medicine and treat many chronic problems. This includes treating patients the have the following diagnoses: adrenal insufficiency, allergies, anxiety, asthma, arthritis, attention deficit disorder, autism, autoimmune disorders, blood sugar imbalances, cancer, chronic fatigue, chronic pain, depression, diabetes, dissociate identity disorder, eczema, emotional disorders, fibromyalgia, gastritis, gastro-esophageal reflux, headaches, heart disease, high blood pressure, hormonal imbalance, hypoglycemia, irritable bowel syndrome, kidney problems, liver problems, migraines, obesity, PMS, PTSD, sleep disorders, thyroid disorders, etc.
Although we take many insurances, be aware that even though insurance may cover the office visits, most lab work and some therapies, it does not cover some of the specialty testing and many of the therapies offered.

Marcy Rowley, FNP
Marcy is a Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), with specialties in diabetes, women's health, bio-identical hormone replacement therapy, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, pediatrics and diet management. She is a graduate of University of Utah and Weber State University. She has been in the medical field for 22 years in a variety of nursing positions ranging from emergency care, ICU, and Surgery to Neonatal Intensive Care. She graduated with her Master's degree in Family Practice in 2006.
Marcy is an avid teacher and lecturer in health management, instructing in disease prevention. Her philosophy is that prevention is the key to maintaining health.
Marcy originally desired to be an architect, but after fighting her own personal battles with numerous diseases, and seeing the mistreatment of family members with chronic disease, and seeing how medicine just covers the disease with a "band-aid," she developed a vision in her mind and heart concerning the direction of her career into medicine. Her clarity and insight of this vision allowed her to achieve her desires. She has been a nurse for 21 years and an FNP for four years. She has been extremely fortunate to work with leading doctors, including Horace Purtzer OD; Dee Kell, Nutritionist; Nancy McCance, PhD, APRN, and other mentors who were kind enough to spend their time teaching her the highest principles of health.
Marcy realizes that there is more to healing than pharmaceuticals. In this quest, she has found principles that work - in body, mind, heart and soul. She feels that, through focused medical management, we can extend the quality and quantity of life. Since this life is such a gift, her desire, her focus and her dream is to have the majority of her patients all live well into their 90's (95 is the goal) with optimal health and able to function totally independently and enjoy the beauty that life has to offer.
